Drawings: Ribbon Studies

Drawing from observation remains an essential part of my practice. This series of twisted and knotted ribbons are done with pastel, graphite and colored pencil. Scans of these drawings are sometimes combined in Photoshop, then printed and enhanced with further drawing.
